Raising blocks to build Pyramids

Postby thomas » Tue 25 Jun 2019 12:09 pm

Rather than using dangerous methods such as ramps and slaves to laboriously push blocks uphill, it is easier to use gravity.

By using people as adjustable deadweight, large blocks may be hoisted with fine control.

The use of people as deadweight would allow for all members of a "working holiday family" to participate in such an important national project.

And all joking aside, it would be much safer than the common perception of slaves being whipped and crushed under despotic conditions. Instead, all persons on the left side of the device could fall unconscious from heat stroke and it wouldn't cause a catastrophe.
